VISIT ACCHS
The best way to experience the Academy of Chinese Culture & Health Sciences is to come in for visit. We offer the promise of evolution, community, and balance and we invite you to meet the people who are the foundation of our community fulfilling this promise. We invite you to immerse yourself in the environment of our classrooms and clinic. Our campus provides spacious classrooms, an extensive library, and a very nice clinic and herbal pharmacy.
A campus visit is the most effective way to get a first hand experience of the ACCHS community. Enjoy a tour, a complimentary treatment in our clinic, sit in on our classes and meet the students, faculty, staff of ACCHS. This is an excellent opportunity to learn more about the admissions process, the programs we offer, financial aid, and to get all your questions answered to galvanize your decision to attend ACCHS.
BART Access
The ACCHS campus is a block from Oakland’s City Center and mere steps away from the 19th Street BART station. Public transit options are plenty with easy access to BART heavy rail, bus lines, and bicycle routes. There are spots to lock up your bike, including secure indoor bike lockers.
Amtrak Access
We are 1 mile from Amtrak and 8.5 miles from the Oakland International Airport, both accessible by public transportation There are spots to lock up your bike, including secure indoor bike lockers. You can also choose to use private transportation services such as Lyft to get to our campus.
Driving Access
There are several parking garages where you can park close by. Generally street parking is difficult, but there are 2-hour meter spots in the surrounding neighborhoods: Parking Map. There is free parking across the bridge (over the freeway) which many students use while in school all day. It’s about a half mile walk to the school from there. Students often park in the free area and then carpool together and share one parking garage spot for the day.
