Virginia Doran, L.Ac., is a renowned expert and experienced international teacher and practitioner of Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture. She has been teaching and lecturing since 1980, and has taught many of the most popular and successful contemporary teachers active in the field today. This is a rare opportunity to learn from one of the original instructors of this material in the West.
Virginia has been sought out by major television networks and featured in magazines and other publications on the subject, as well as acting as a consultant for a variety of publications on acupuncture for facial rejuvenation and dermatological conditions. She also had honor to be the first Westerner invited to teach acupuncture in Japan.
She is currently writing two books on facial rejuvenation for publication – one for acupuncture practitioners and another for the general public.

The course will allow opportunity for theoretical underpinnings (no pun intended) of this art, as well as ample opportunity for hand-on practice and refinement.
Course Objectives:
In this course, participants will learn:
- How to customize facial rejuvenation treatments based on Chinese and Japanese acupuncture.
- How to assess which meridians are involved in the various ways that individuals physically manifest the aging process.
- Point selection and needle technique for conditions such as acne, dry skin, age spots, sagging skin, wrinkles, scars, double chins, as well as bags and dark circles under the eyes.
- Acupressure, Qigong and Virginia’s own Integrated Deep Muscle Therapy (IDMT) techniques for preserving youthful appearance and combating signs of aging on the face.
The class will culminate with an evaluation of skills and conceptual understanding to allow for certification in facial rejuvenation acupuncture.
In this three-day workshop, participants will learn a highly effective method of Facial Rejuvenation that simultaneously benefits a person’s appearance and overall health.
