Jan. 14th Lunch and Learn meeting held on campus with CSOMA representatives was well received, with many engaging questions and valuable discussions. A big thank you to everyone who participated. The commitment and involvement of current students in the growth and recognition of our profession is crucial.
- Gilian – A heartfelt THANK YOU for leading this event during such a challenging time in your life. Despite the wildfires affecting your area, your dedication and resilience are truly inspiring.
- Dr. Ra – THANK YOU for sharing your knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm with us. Your unwavering commitment to CSOMA and tireless advocacy for our profession are deeply appreciated.
As Dr. Ra emphasized, we encourage everyone to join CSOMA and other TCM associations. Unity is critical for safeguarding our rights, advancing our profession, and increasing public awareness. Currently, participation in TCM professional organizations is below 10%, compared to approximately 90% in many Western medical associations. This low involvement significantly limits our collective voice and ability to educate the public. Every hand is needed, and every effort matters to create a brighter future for our field.
If you’d like to learn more about the state of our profession, CSOMA’s initiatives, or how you can contribute — even by simply sending a message to your senator — please don’t hesitate to reach out to Gilian or Dr. Ra.
