COURSE DESCRIPTION

Neijing chrono-acupuncture is a classical approach rooted in the Huangdi Neijing that understands human physiology as part of the larger cyclical movements of nature. Health depends upon the body’s circulation remaining harmonized with patterns of time, space, direction, seasonal change, and yin-yang transformation. Treatment therefore considers not only where pathology is located, but also how illness developed over time and how the patient’s internal circulation relates to changing natural cycles. Acupuncture is used to correct disrupted or counterflow patterns and restore the body toward its normal, orderly circulation and yin-yang balance.

This course provides instruction in Classical Needling techniques and Imperial Chrono-Acupuncture applications. The morning focuses on theory, treatment principles, and clinical strategy. The afternoon consists of supervised hands-on practice integrating classical needling methods with time-based acupuncture point selection.

Participants will be able to:

  1. Explain the foundations of Classical Needling and Imperial Chrono-Acupuncture.
  2. Identify appropriate clinical applications for selected classical needling techniques.
  3. Apply temporal principles to acupuncture point selection.
  4. Demonstrate safe and appropriate needle manipulation techniques.
  5. Integrate classical needling and chrono-acupuncture principles into treatment planning.
